Us airways Credit card worth it?

I don't know if i am in the right place.
I want to know if it is worth it to sign up for the Us airways CC. Being that you can book flights on continental i was thinking that it might be worth it to sign up for the credit card, but i have a couple of questions.
1) If i cancel it is it bad for my credit? (till know i have only been cards or changing it to another card, not canceling)
2) deos anyone have any experience with them?
3) anyone have any experience with barclays? (they are the issuing bank)

barclays is a huge bank - thats all i know - you dont need to be worried about them i think.

yes i know someone with a lufthansa miles & more issued by Barclays, and he's never had any problems with them.

As from your id u know that Barclay's bank is a prestigious bank back home. But here in the States as for credit cards they suck

I have had a total of 3 cards btw the spouse and I, and plan on churning it a few times per year.
They have terrible customer service, but all you need is a single purchase for the 40k points to post, so hopefully it shouldn't matter.
Make sure that you sign up with an app that has fine print promising the 40k points for both types of cards. They used to bait n switch (http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=11994.0), but the practice may have ended since the app I just used said it was 40k for both types of cards.

Also, be careful if you need recon, since they may pull your credit a second time.

They also have a biz card for 25k.
