Have been there dozens of times and never ordered! I guess we will need to try head-to-head.

I had it last week while sitting next to you. You could have just asked to taste.

I would have, except that you and your spouse looked like you might be on your first date. I didn't want to interrupt true love.

Should I skip it and opt for Lyft/Uber?

Car Parking $40

Taxi to and from Airport $20 each way

If this is your plan I would recommend to skip the car rental. :)
After hours of reading
Boston blogs and forums and travel sites
I've come to the conclusion what makes Boston famous is that you don't need the restaurant to even be good!!!

All you have to do is the following
Step 1 stop at a pub
Step 2 get wasted
Step 3 head to your desired restaurant for the best food you'll never remember

So any of the restaurants in Boston offer something that I can't get in NYC?
Wondering if it's worth the stop in the few hours I have here
Nothing world class, but I always enjoy the hot brisket on bulke from Rubins.

+1 on Rubin's.
Solid, reliable, comfort food.
Not a bargain, but not ridiculously expensive.
I like the Rubin sandwich, or pastrami on rye, but can't argue with the hot brisket, either.

Stop at the Sam Adams Brewery first so that you can get drunk for free.
It's seriously true, because one of their beers is really unpopular so a couple of guys can polish off enough for 30.

Or Boston?

The Lounge in Boston with Priority Pass (across from Gate C19).

It was great actually, lots of Kosher snacks, but all alcohol free, and they had Glenlivit, I was shocked.

My Boston trip was a success yesterday, had 12 hours in Boston and did Milk Street cafe for Breakfast, Sam Adams tour (basically unlimited free beer on my tour), Red Sox game, saw all players leaving after game since had some time to kill, walked around Fenway area and hit up Target and some other stores, and then The Lounge for an hour before my flight. So easy to get around also with public transportation.
