I  was on a Delta flight that was delayed due to a faulty brake, They gave 10000 points for FFM and $100 voucher non ~*, I created a FF after I landed and called if they can give me the 10000 points instead of the voucher, they said no sorry they would only give 500 points, I filled a complaint and they sent me a check of about $835 (the  equivalent of 3000 nis) + added 10000 points to my account

I have a friend who was sceduled to land in NY out of TLV via IST at 11am and landed in JFK 8 hour later in than her original arrival time due to TK delays. Would she be eligible for compensation? If yes where can I request it?

AA is refusing to compensate me, does anyone know how I give in a complaint to receive compensation under Israeli aviation service law?
Do I need to take them to Israeli court?

Booked a us airways flight for me and family in J lga-phl-tlv
The lga flight got delayed due to mechanical issues, only thing AA was willing to do is rebook for the next day in Y with a stop in lhr without paying for taxi or hotel
The only thing AA was willing to compensate is $200 voucher
As per Israeli aviation law I'm owed around 3,000 NIS per passenger plus refund the miles used to book the flight

Filled out the online form but they never got back to me
It looks like the only way to go about it is to get a Israeli lawyer and take them to court

Have someone file for you in the Israeli small claims court.

Have someone file for you in the Israeli small claims court.
Its tricky to be represented in Israeli smalls claims court by a lawyer, your supposed to to represent yourself but companies tend to send a company representative that happens to be a lawyer.

LY 027 delayed from 0:30 to 9:00. Was offered hotel, transportation, voucher. Arrived just over 8 hours late to EWR.

Equipment shortage.

Well then, you should be eligible for the compensation. But it is El Al, so with that. GOOD LUCK

Do you think it will be a free flight or just the cash?

People I know have gotten free flights for even shorter delays.
