Forced Economy Plus Switch
« on: March 06, 2013, 01:21:13 PM »
So I'm going to Israel for Pesach and I bought (shocker!) upgrades to economy plus. I realized now that for my return flight, my seats are at the bulkhead where bassinets go. If they have to move me for a bassinet, will they upgrade me to BusinessFirst or will I get downgraded?
I have nothing witty to write here....

Very rarely will they force you to move.

talking about downgrade (and not creating a new topic  :-)

if purchased a certain flight, and would want to change date, I am aware of the high change fees (orbitz fees, AA fees, LY fees) and change of cost in ticket.

How would it work if change to low season with lower tickets cost, would they refund change of price? (or deduct from change fees the lower cost difference?)

It depends on airline and fare class. Some airlines do deduct that from the change fee. I know in most cases Delta does.

Would need to see the fare rules.
