Anyone been to the Waldorf recently that can answer some q’s?
Wondering if i have a good shot at room upgrade (HH Diamand) and if not if its worth paying for it.
Wich rooms pools are actually private?
What kosher food does the hotel have?
And lastly, any recommendations for a private boat ride?
Thanks in advance:)

We just got back from our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. First off regarding points stays with Hilton honors points you may see the rooms are going for exorbitant amount of points per night. What I noticed as I was planning this trip was that the closer to the dates the rooms will go cheaper to the 120k points per night. Usually within a week or two before the nights the points will go down to 120k per night. I can't guarantee this for all dates but definitely the dates we wanted 2 weeks before the standard room called the "PACIFIC VIEW - PLUNGE POOL-KING BED - TERRACE" became available for 120k points per night. When we checked in we were actually upgraded to a different room (Hilton Gold) I would recommend it since the porch with the plunge pool is pretty private  and has amazing ocean views it is room number 132. As far as kosher food we brought with us canned tuna, canned pickles, mayo and lots of snacks. We did make a stop with our car service from the airport to the hotel at Costco. There we were able to find kosher deli, cheese ,bread, guac, chips. The hotel provided us free continental breakfast every morning with Hilton gold. They had Kosher cereal, kosher milk and fresh fruit. Hotel does also have sodas and water in the room that are replenished daily for free. There is a fleshigs restaurant that just opened in Cabo Jewish Center which is about a five minute walk from the hotel. It is called Ember I believe it is affiliated with the Ember restaurant in Cancun. It has just opened so there is a limited menu and no website yet but the food was solid and I'm sure will become better with time. For information on it I whatsapp messaged the Rabbi (.https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=5216241330489&text=Hey) . The rabbi did tell us that the Cabo Jewish Center will be opening a dairy restaurant in the future. As far as activities we booked Atving and jet sking through Joey (https://www.jewishcabo.org/activities) who also arranged our airport transportation. He's very responsive and has great prices and ideas. We also booked a photo shoot through him at the hotel. The one activity we did not book through him was the Cabo dolphins that was through Cabo adventures. It was expensive especially with the pictures afterwards being at least $200 but definitely a once in a lifetime experience I would recommend. Overall it was a great trip with a beautiful hotel that has amazing service. Please let me know if there are any questions you have.

I am looking for all-inclusive at Las Cabos. Looked at Hyatt but did not find anything around mid april(spring break). Are there any other options? We stayed at Moon Palace Cancun in the past and loved it. Food is important to us. Anything similar?

Dp Just rented a Car from Hertz in SJD. There is no presidents circle. What you reserve is what you get. I had to pay an extra $150/ day to upgrade to a Suburban..

Joey was great. I really recommend the Atving and the Ziplining. The Jetskiing was not so enjoyable due to the high waves.

Did you actually need a car?

Any recent reviews for The Cape (Thompson)? I'm globalist so want to use my benefits here. I know the WA gets rave reviews.

Booked with AA, LAX_SKJ RT. outbound was on B6, AA exec plat status got us preferred seating, first on line to board etc. on B6. Return my exec plat got us both upgraded to J, 24 hours in advance.
purchased 120,000 points, and received a 100% bonus, which covered the two night stay. Requested, and received, a room with a private pool that couldn't be seen into. Many of them don't.
Booked airport transportation through Joey, was smooth and well priced.
Booked ATV ride with Joey as well, awesome experience, 2 hours in the desert and on the beach, and better prices that the establishments rack rates.
Booked swimming with the dolphins direct, was prewarned about the cost of the photos, and pre purchased the package and made sure the photographer knew that, so she made sure to get good shots of us.
Ember was good, nice place, decent food, and took off the food part of the trip off our minds. we had brought some rolls and cheese with us, purchased some chips and yogurts etc at a local grocery. Hotel gave whole fruit here and there (including a guacamole amenity, for which they gave us whole tomatoes and avocadoes). I wasn't comfortable with much more than coffee or water at the continental breakfast, nothing was in packages (other than the milk, upon request).
All in all, gourgeous resort, beautiful place, weather was hot and humid but manageable, resort was pretty empty. Very classy crowd generally.
