When to close Amex Plat MB

Hi,

I know this is a gray area - but if someone could give a little guidance - after I have completed the minimum spend on an AMEX MB Platinum - at what point should I / could I cancel it to get some of the $450 refunded?

I have gone through the forums but haven't found a clear answer.

Hasn't it been discussed that it's 60 days of approval cuz sometimes the AF takes a few weeks to hit?
