one time $2000 credit card spending
« on: April 18, 2013, 08:42:22 PM »
when you open a virtual wallet account with pnc bank you can fund it with a credit card and put in up to $2,000 which you get %100 deposited into your account. so if you need to meet a credit card threshold this is a great way.

In the days before VR, BB, GC, MVD, et al this would've gotten a lot more comments!

Is this an F/R or A/A risk?

Welcome to PNC Bank. This chat may be monitored for quality assurance purposes. A Financial Sales Consultant will be with you shortly.
You are now chatting with 'Jean'. How may I assist you today?
Jean: Good evening and welcome to PNC Chat!  I’m a PNC Senior Financial Sales Consultant located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I can open new accounts, complete account upgrades, apply for credit cards and loans.  How may I help you this evening?
you: Hi, is there a hard credit report "pull" when opening a virtual wallet account?
Jean: Thank you for contacting PNC for your banking needs!  A new account application requires a "soft" credit inquiry and Chex Systems verification.

the real question is whether there is a Cash advance fee risk?

Set your cash advance limit to $0.

I think its a $25 dollar penalty for closing within X amount of days. Withdrawals/billpay doesn't seem to be a problem

Didn't see this anywhere, link? I only see the 50 cents fee for an extra check.

That's been around for a while and will probably outlast the other methods of MS.

Not sure wat you think of this idea. And it's not something I'd do bec I have no issue finding VR's. but when you bet online you fund the account with a cc. Fund it for 5k wait a day or 2 then request a check to get your money back
