combine AAdvantage Miles and Citi Thank You Points?

I am traveling to Aruba in August and was wondering if I can somehow combine my AA miles and my Thank You points to get a flight and perhaps a hotel. If that is not possible I was just thinking of getting the departure through AA and the return flight through Citi Thank You Network. Please let me know if this is possible and also if there are any deals to Aruba.
