it tells you when it was last updated
so it seems like it updates when i get statements and i only get statements if there is activity.
is there another way other than there and barclays to get a  fico score?

Check online if it updated
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

When I said it does update, I meant that it updates even when there's no activity.
However, I've yet to figure out the frequency in which it updates.
It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the statement date.

I'll try checking the soft pulls on my TU. Maybe that will give me a clue.

It doesn't update frequently but it does update for my account even with no activity.

Did multiple apps in last 15 days.
Every app says another score.
Example TU: barclay - 702, Chase - 724

I think it was always like that.
Can't cancel for 3 months.

You could use Citi's or BOFA's virtual CC number and cancel the card after first charge.

The benefit of Virtual CC is that there's no need to cancel anything.

It's not FICO. It's their own system.

My wife got declined for 1/2 chase ink cards and just got the letter today. IT says it's a FIco score, but the range is 250-900.  What's going on here?  Wikipedia says

Interesting. It seem your'e right. Most of their letters are FICO.
But on a recent app for someone, I received the following. I though that's what they use.

Chase is probably EX and Barclay is probably TU.
Chase is probably NOT FICO.
Both sent letter with TU + FICO.
I've gotten many letters from Chase, always EX until this 1 letter stating TU

Interesting. I'm assuming you applied under an AZ address.

Yes.
I found it odd as well getting a TU letter from chase after receiving 15 or so with EX.
FYI, this was for a BA recon.

I am at the end of my free ProtectMyID subscription courtesy of Target.  I have found them mostly redundant because of this , however I have found that they have one MAJOR benefit.

I have successfully removed pulls from my EX report easily by phone on 3 separate occasions.  One was for two pulls on the same day that for some reason didn't consolidate.  The other two were for pulls  on different days, as much as five days apart.

It will cost me $10/mo to renew for a year and I'm not sure it's worth it.  Is anyone aware of a cheaper way to do this?
