what the heck is that ? Does it come w office 365?

As an aside does anyone know what LAMBDA is?
Yes. Basically you can use LAMBDA to create a reusable custom formula written with standard excel formulas (not vba)

Check out the new xlookup. Takes care of all the issues with vlookup and much more straightforward than index match

I have a column with a a thousand numbers. I need to increase all of them by 15%. Without doing it manually, how do increase all the cells in that column by 15% all at once?

Type .15 into any cell, and do ctrl+c.
Then, select the data you want to multiply, right click, do paste special, and select multiply.

I do it the long and ignorant way:
- add column
- =[cell from previous column] * 1.15
- auto fill the formula above to all rows
- copy the added column
- Paste special the added column over the original one, pasting values
- Delete the added column

Cool shortcut to do it simpler, thanks!

I had a multi-tab workbook I was working on. Hit save religiously. I moved it from a folder to my desktop, and now only the last sheet is there. How do I get the other sheets back?

ETA: Google tells me I can't save multiple sheets in a csv file, which would explain why the other sheets are gone. Is there any way to get them back, or am I wasting my time?

Did you check the original folder in case the other sheets got left behind somehow?
