10 Cards To Earn Continental Miles With.
« on: October 11, 2010, 03:47:50 PM »
I see that Continental has several signup bonus offers available:

30k Miles for the Continental OnePass MC from Chase
25k Miles for the Continental Debit Card from Chase (recently expired offer)
28k Points (transferable to Continental Miles 1:1) for Chase Sapphire Preferred Card
40k *woods Points (transferable to Continental for 25k miles, a terrible deal I know)

Are there other signup offers which can be made into Continental Miles that I am missing?

More importantly, what other airlines have multiple ways of earning miles through signup bonuses, and what are those offers?

26K miles (after 1k spend) from AMEX Premier Gold Charge

I'm only showing 15K. I cleared my cookies and still no go. Is it my browser?

Like I wrote on the main site, that offer was scheduled to, and indeed expired yesterday.

You need to clear your browser's cache and cookies and/or use a different browser.
And the current offer is 10K upon signup and 30K when you spend $15K within 6 months.

It appears that it's been extended until 10/25

Great, got approved. Thanks!

Do I cancel my wifes card and clear her MR points before I apply for her again or can I overlap?

In my case, my wife and I each had cards from the similar April 2010 offer.  We each moved our points to Continental and cancelled the cards on 9/29/10.  On 10/8/10 we applied for the current offer and received the cards in the mail yesterday.  We called to confirm that we are to get the 25K points after $1K spend in 3 months.  Good to go!

Nice. I cancelled my card yesterday and was approved today. Looks like today is last day to apply. Firefox seems to be doing better the IE on application. IE keeps gettings errors.
