Chase CC Address Verification

I applied to the Marriott boundless last night but put in my school address this time instead of my home address which is what I have listed on my CFF and checking acc.

Now they’re asking me to verify the current address that im in.

Not sure which address they’re referring to, probably my school, in which that case all I have to verify is a student ID, but either way I’m getting cold feet about this application.

Should I ignore the email and they will drop the application within 14 days, or upload the student ID as a doc and see what happens, or just call them and explain what happened and keep the card?

You did the app - it's on your credit report. So don't just let the app disappear.

Upload your student ID if it has the address you used on the app.  Or get a letter from the school that you live there - on official stationery.

You did the app - it's on your credit report. So don't just let the app disappear.

Upload your student ID if it has the address you used on the app.  Or get a letter from the school that you live there - on official stationery.

I’d rather not use up one of my 5/24 slots right now on a card like this..as I understand if I drop the application somehow, this won’t count.

Also won’t it be easier to just call chase and tell them to use my home address instead to just keep everything the same? I feel like this raises red flags to have different addresses

You could call recon and tell them your home address and that it's you.  It might pay to give them (and then verify) your school address also.  It would be easy on the phone to say you're there for the  year and accepting mail, but you still accept mail at your original, parents address.
But if  you no longer think the card is worth getting, you can cancel your app. (I think)
