Last wk I received an email from Southwest with an invitation to apply for a premium rewards cc with a 50,000 bonus after a $2000 spend. This offer exp 8/17/2014. A friend of mine also sent me an email -its a referral for the SW plus card also with 50,000 miles and that offer expires 9/30/14. I would like to apply for both but wanted to wait until the 3 month mark because in late May I was approved for 3 new cards-the citi exec, Chase sapphire and US airway and I have since completed all of the spending requirements. I wanted to apply for both cards at the same time but I am thinking my chances for approval are better over the 3 month mark. Any suggestions as to best chance of approval -I know Chase can be very picky. TIA.
