In that case, a nice bottle of scotch is in order
I know I'm in the minority, but for whatever reason, my palate prefers bourbon to scotch. There's some flavor, almost astringent, in scotch that repels me. I picked up a store-brand bottle of Kentucky bourbon from my favorite membership-based warehouse store (have sampled it at shul and was surprised how drinkable it was), so I could bring that.
And then, from the wiki, Moishybatchy is bringing an interesting sounding rye whisky (

(When) can we begin to get (more) serious about planning this siyum?
