Just closed my card a few days ago. I can still see the offer and was able to sign up for it.
But since I can't make a purchase, I guess I'm out of luck.

Closed my card a few months ago, and did the same. Also got an email thanking me for going paperless on my closed account

Same here. Barclay said they can't reinstate accounts.
Probably no way to buy something on a closed card.

I just applied and was approved for this card today.

Card is already showing on-line and the $25 offer showed up. Here's hoping I get the card before Dec 31st so I can put a charge on it.

Worked like a charm after I put it back to paper > log out > login > Ok. Also while add it called them about the AF that posted in September. It is now waived

if u do not ask --you will never get it - does not cost u anything to ask -and now they extremely soft - just have to mention the a.f and they give it back

Not sure what makes them so soft. Maybe holiday season

. I told them I had reviewed statements and asked if they could waive it and they were happy to do it.

SOFT---only one reason --They want to hold on to every U S Air c.c. client they have -some people keep cards for a life time! - plenty of profit can be made-- BUT- not from the Dan's Gang

I thought i had converted my US card, but still showing US and i got the $25 credit. Also got it on a new US card approved today.

I had the offer come up but I hit. No thanks . Is there a way to get it back ? I tried opting in and login out. Opt out . Log in again so far not coming up again

Still working great, did for a brand new account for my brother. After I signed up did the one .50 purchase at Amazon.

I had paperless statements, went back to paper so I could go paperless, saw the promo bought a $.50 amazon GC to trigger the credit. My statement closed yesterday and I see that the $.50 posted and Barclays did a $.50 balance adjustment and I didnt get the $25 credit. What should I do? Should I make another purchase and hope Barclays doesn't just wipe it away?

Many banks will do that for charges for a statement under $1.

On that note, my statement closed yesterday with a $1 charge with no $25 credit.
