This is not the $40 holiday credit!!! zip car is sending out $15 coupon credit to all customers in celebration of their 15 year anniversary, the code can only be used once. I didn't get the email (because I opted out from receiving promotional emails from them) so I wrote to info@zipcar.com and they manually applied it to my account. See below the email I sent them and the reply I got.

Good afternoon
A few of my friends and family members had received an email from zip car with a $15 credit coupon, I was wondering why I didn't get it, I am a long time costumer (since ****), and did quite a bit of zipping over the years, can I get the credit as well?

Dear *****, Thanks for contacting us regarding your Zipcar account. We've reviewed your account and see that you have not opted-in to receive these types of emails from us, which is why there wasn't a promocode emailed. As a courtesy we've manually added the $15 birthday credit to your account. Please note that this credit expires on February 18th and will be automatically applied to your reservations. If you would like to opt-in to receive these types of emails and newsletters in the future, you may do so by signing in and visiting "my stuff" > "my account" > "contact me". Once on the "contact me" page choose the "email me" option next to "send me news or sweet driving deals". You can keep tabs on your credit balance and expiration by signing in and visiting my stuff my statement my credits (top right), then see recent credit history (that last bit s in orange on top of the credit activity box). Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns, and thank you for sharing Zipcars! Regards, Zipcar Member Services zipcar
