does anyone know any deals on swingsets? looking to get a new one for the backyard- any leads or suggestions would be great. also if anyone has an opinion about pvc/vinyl vs wood.

Get PVC on Craigslist instead of buying wood for new - that's what I did and i'm very happy.  there are people that will disassemble, move, and reassemble them for a fee.  The pvc ones truly last forever, and the wood ones do not.

mine is more than 5 years old, and sees pretty heavy usage.  still looks great.  I don't know anything about hybrid sets

Get the lifetime one from costco. I have it for about 7 years and it still looks brand new.

I bought a 20 year old Rainbow set at a yard sale. Repainted it and it looks new. I had to replace a couple of boards but it is amazing how well it has held up.

had a wooden one from walmart, lasted 2 years. bought the costco one last summer, still perfect, and gets daily use year round.

We got the 2700 model customized a bit( added the rock wall/rope climb, a picnic table in the space under the playhouse/ longer slide/some other things) and it was $1700. I believe the 2700 model as show in picture is $1200. All the sets are can be customized.

That's the one.  Paid  someone to put it together.  About 8 hours for 2 people.  One was a professional handyman.

Thanks, it seems that with most of these sets (from costco, sams club, etc) you pay for someone/people to put it together  Trying to figure out how much more that will cost - ?

if you're handy you can do it yourself. Or if you have access to a handyman that can do it for $15 an hour....
