Link to "Trick-it" thread on FT, Good Luck!

Booking: "Airline's own site is usually best. It just simply won't work there most of the time, hence the need for OTAs. And some of the smaller OTAs have employees doing manual checks of their tickets, so gotta be cautious there, too." (Moishebatchy)

See, this is precisely why booking FD's is NOT for the unwashed masses!!!

Here, let me make this nice and clear for you: when booking a FD, you CANNOT call the airline for ANY reason. You cannot call to add an infant, you cannot call to order kosher meals, you cannot call to request seats, you cannot even call to check if your flight is running on time!!!! No human eye (belonging to an airline employee) can ever see your ticket, period. If it cannot be done online, then you cannot do it at all. The risk is too great. Capische?

Oh, and as far as changes/cancellations are concerned... YOU CANNOT CANCEL A FUEL DUMP TICKET. EVER. Even if it's cancel-able online, because online cancellations are often manually reviewed by human auditors. You spent $450 on a cheap ticket to Israel and now your work schedule changed? That's too bad, you're gonna have to eat the $450 loss and let your ticket go into the garbage. If you try to cancel, your greed in saving $450 can trigger the cancellation of tens of thousands of dollars of other people's fuel-dumped tickets. Think I'm exaggerating? I've seen it happen with my own eyes.

NOW do you people understand what I mean by the "dark side of FD"?!

And NOW do you see why we don't like when the newbie, "gimme a cheap ticket to Israel!!!!" crowd gets a hold of these?! Let me tell you, when someone from that crowd gets a hold of these fares and books his family of 10 people for $4,500 total, and then they have to cancel the trip for some reason, I GUARANTEE you he will not resist the temptation to cancel and get his $4,500 back. He WILL cancel to get his money back, and he WILL get the dump killed for many other people. And THAT is a big part of why veterans don't like it when newbies get their hands on this stuff.

Well said, and that elitist attitude translates, into people posting here just to spite others here, that aren't well versed in the fuel dump topic.
Now, I haven't quite figured this whole thing out, so I can't be certain that what some are posting is full BS, or actually real info., but my gut feeling is that people are just trying to play with others minds with all this stuff.
And yes I know the point is to talk in code, so it shouldn't be spelled out all clearly, but sometimes one can tell from the attitude, and style of writing if its a load of crap, or actual help.

Take it easy,
They're all copy and pasting.
They themselfes don't have it all figured out yet.
Some are saying that outright.
But this is the lingo on the FT thread about this.
And I'm celebrating the fact we have our own.

Well because you have been so forthcoming in this thread I'll spoonfeed you...open wide... Drake, the rapper, is Jewish and from Toronto. His hit song is "Started From The Bottom". Your words, his song. Royalties may be be in order.

Let me spell this out crystal clear for you:

I don't know who Drake is.

I don't care who Drake is.

Now that you've told me, I'll do my best to forget who Drake is.

My lines are my lines. If someone else happens to have come up with something similar as well, good for him. He's in good company. :)

Also, it seems to me that fd usually at best shaves off 66% is this true? I. E. On the fare posted above 400 ai wouldn be considered a win

You can shave off all/most of the fat, but the question is how much it costs to replace the fat.

Would it not be the same amount of fat that was shaved off ?

No you replace the fat with "dessert" in the code above, generally one that is cheaper. This much I got from the tutorial in the wiki.
So on a $600 flight with 50 bf. What price should I expect IF I am successful?

Just last week I decided to try to explore fd, a topic that has thus far eluded me. Did a search on DDF and was surprised to see it barely even mentioned. I've been trying to find a 3x but haven't had the time to dedicate though I've been toying around with the idea of scripting a program to search likely routes. I guess the biggest issue is having to suck it up for economy when I've gotten so used to bclass. I do like the game of searching though.
Btw OP post is super easy to figure out, thanks for giving me my first taste of dessert =)

A better question would be "How successful can I be"?

I made whatsapp group with a couple friends committed to mastering this art. I feel we can post there more openly than on Web, and easier than PM.
PM if you are interested in putting time in, and would like to join.

So you rag on me for not sharing openly in another thread and now you are doing the same thing. Is there anyone on this forum that only has one face?  :)

It's the third time, the leaves still aren't growing in the cold city. They can still fly to a warmer country. They just have to go to the autumn season that will make the leaves show on the ground. They can and have to thank yo for the greenery.

These clues are really hard. Can't we use some yiddish/hebrew? That should be sufficient to help us accomplish our main objective of keeping prying eyes away.
I'm sure we are all willing to help out our regulars that don't speak the language.

Seriously man, what was the point of you posting this?

Just bragging?  No one knows who you really are anyway  (otherwise they would've been spitting in your ugly face).

Trying to help others?
First of all,  you're not helping anyone with your stupid made-up codes. You can code DEN as dirty diaper or CLE as brownie cookies and it would mean the same as your soda opener code.

Second of all, you're not helping some people - YOU'RE <language redacted by mod>!%@ RUINING IT FOR EVERYONE! !

It would be nice of the mods to remove it, but after all - we all know - this forum is not a dictatorship and we can't oppress freedom of speech.

So maybe if we all act together and voice our opinions to the leadership, we will find an open ear and follow the will of the majority.

The easiest way to express our opinion in a unified way is that we all change our signatures to the same slogan:
#SHUTDOWNTHETHREAD!

If anyone has some nice photoshop skills, maybe we can also get a unified avatar. But that's for later.

👆 I'm with Stupid.

#SHUTDOWNTHETHREAD!
+1

Why?
Is it august 28 2016?
Because this thread was created august 25 2015.
If people don't understand the problem with sharing this on ddf that in itself is a red flag by me.
