I don't think it's worth it for me just for the CDW. So the remaining question is whether to keep 1 or 2 Ink cards. There is the Lounge Club benefit, but since we have Amex Platinum cards, that should cover that, no?
Lounge club is dead.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Ink plus to ink cash, csp to freedom.
Business to business, and personal to personal. Is that the idea?

Oh, right!
even if at the moment you don't feel like the type to maximize 5x on ink it may still be worth it to hold onto (over a csp) just in case you ever get there.

You can downgrade to an ink cash, and upgrade if/when you want it. For that price, you can downgrade both, but you want at least one card with transfer abilities.

Agreed. CSP is gone. The only question is whether to have (and pay for) 1 or 2 Inks. I don't think it's worth it for a maybe.

I assume a downgrade does not involve a credit pull, correct? Also, is it a big deal to get a downgrade (recon, etc.), or are they easy with it?

Remember to downgrade, not close.

But don't you need to close it so that when you try again later on to get sign up bonus again?  Also what is  CDW?  Forgive my ignorance in advance on this.

If you downgrade you don't have that product anymore.
CDW=Collision Damage Waiver

I don't think the 2x is worth it, considering I have Amex gold for tickets (3x), etc. The only question is the CDW. Is that the only card that offers it everywhere?
UMPE is the same as sapphire for CDW

Time to deal with the AF on my CSP. Is it worth asking for them to waive it, or just go straight to downgrade?
Also, any reason to wait for regular business hours? Are the reps then more knowledgeable/empowered?
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. Might as well try, no? What is there to lose?
