Amex points with AA

I want to use my Amex points to be able to combine with all my AA miles what is the best way to do that?
I don't want to go with Delta I don't have any miles with Delta.

If your looking to combine your AA points with Amex you can't. But if you want to split up and book tickets on AA you can transfer to BA and I believe there is a 40 pct bonus going on and then book AA flights as they are partners. PM if you need help.

BA or better yet transfer to a Star Alliance carrier, but then excludes AA travel.
