In lkwd they avg from $8 - $10 psf

If you go 5 minutes out of lkwd you can get $5-$6 psf

That sounds very steep, 500-750 square feet may be a large space but 5k a month sounds very high.

I'm not from Lakewood.

No, the basic rule is per year so if the space is 500 sf at $8 a sf, that's $4000 / 12 = $333 per month

Smaller spaces are sometimes higher up to $25 psf
The bigger the space the cheaper
