My FB miles are expiring, all 162,000 of them, by 12/31/15.
Option 1 would be to use it, buy a trip for the family for nyc-fll, but I would still have 62,000 points left to use.
Option 2 - I contacted FB and told them that my wife just gave birth and we don't want to fly now with a small baby. This is what they answered me, please let me know what you think!

Please provide us with a photocopy of the medical certificate by e-mail. We are taking into account the potential impact of pregnancy on the customer's frequency of travel. We need this to evaluate your request. However, this rule is applied for the female only who actually carry a baby and has the physical impact on.
When we receive this information, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If it successfully approved the medical situation, exceptionally, we are pleased to offer you the chance to benefit once again from all of the Miles that have expired on your balance. This amounts to 162000 Miles.
In order to receive the Miles, please send the medical certificate as soon as possible and simply contact us by December 2016 to show the willingness to reinstate the expired Miles. Then fly(1) on AIR FRANCE, KLM, Transavia Airlines, Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Air Calin, Air Corsica, HOP(2) or any SkyTeam member airlines before June 2017.
Once your flight has been registered to your account, please contact your Flying Blue Customer Service Centre again, and ask for these expired Miles to be reinstated.
