FTFY
I read up on it. They're offering it to citizens of countries that have historically performed well in the Olympics.  ;D

Great time for Rio or Manaus, other places will be cold.

$160 and a lot of effort/person.

Is the weather in Rio and São Paulo so different? They're pretty close to each other (hour flight/6 hour drive)

rio is on the water so it can be a bit cooler
they are only about 400km apart (6 hour drive because of traffic)

Brazil could get lower than that in lots of places. Florinaopolis could go down to the 30s in the winter, and São Paulo can get chilly too.

In the winter rio is very pleasant, gets a lot of sun.
