call them up and tell them they never told you they would pull your credit and you want them to remove those inquiries dont knwo if it will work but you can try

Doubtful that'll work, but definitely worth a shot.

FTFY

No chance with Crap1 and slime to none with the CRA's.

Two pulls? You're fine, no worries.

CB/CRA, same difference, at least colloquially.

No chance with Crap1 and slime to none with the CRA's.

I actually figured the other way around, no personal experience though.

It is called credit bureau or credit reporting agency. Just a FYI and not trying to get into a pi**ing contest. Other forums will take CB to mean creditboards and that is why they use CRA.

You can call the CRA directly. All most certain you will get shot down and then you can try disputing online also. When I said your chances are slim to none I mean like a 1000 to 1.

One thing you can try with Crap1 is tell them you were not aware they would pull from all three CRA’s. Ask them nicely if as a onetime courtesy would they consider removing the inquire. The hard part would to get to the right person that knew what you were talking about.

Seriously, check the Wiki and the Acronyms thread, that's the way it is here, we haven't really discussed the other CB much here at all...

I think we are just clarifying are posts so we don’t get in a situation where “we have to go at it”. Hopefully in the future we won’t even have to clarify anything.

I don't understand why you repeatedly have to tell us what happens on other forums.

In Dec. I asked Cap1 if they would do a hard pull when I ask for a credit increase, the CSR told me no, they're just looking on payment history of that specific card. And recently I had my CR by Identity Monitor and I don't remember any pull by Cap1.              I wouldn't say you should never deal with Cap1 since they have the lowest standards to get approved for a card, so for someone with no/low/fair credit history its the easiest way to build your credit, especially their Journey Card for which almost everyone get approved + you get your monthly credit score for free by Karma.

Chase increased the credit limit on one of my cards on their own, does this mean I'm in good standing? In other words, should I go for an App-o-rama?

Just got an email from Chase that they increased one of my CL's. Any idea if that means they did a hard pull? IINM when you request a CL increase, it's a new pull, but if they do it on their own...
