Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

should i even waste a pull trying? way over 5/24 and not prepared
Eh I wouldn't. Also keep in mind you can apply in branch after today, so I'd say prepare then apply in branch.

True, but you probably have a better chance over 5/24 in branch rather then online.

DP.
I was over 5/24 and got approved without calling.
(My father has CPC which makes me "segmented" CPC)
Y not go for it?

1) Do I need to cancel CSP before applying for CSReserve?

2) Which scenario is better?

     a) To lock in the 100k by applying online today despite plunged low credit score and spend the month paying off low balanced CCs and reversing any negative marks or
     b) apply inbranch before March 11 after my credit report reflects the higher credit score?

THANK YOU for the quick response.  Are there any disadvantages to applying inbranch as opposed to online?

Quick question. Which 3 cards should I go for with a 3BM? I only have a Chase Freedom and a SPG.

No 3bm in branch
I thought it was reported that that advantage really is no more, that the banks can instantly see when applying for more than one card.

The 3BM can still work if online apps are done the same day as the branch app, no?  Only one inquiry (assuming all business or all personal)

What is the standard CL range people are getting on this card?
Jews ≠ Zionists
Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

lowest is 10k and I've seen reports of up to 34k so standard is probably somewhere in the middle

I've been seeing the same. My credit history wasn't to extensive prior to this card and they gave me 15k...as always YMMV

Sister just got 30K with only one other CC, a lease and some AU's on her CR
