ROKU box vs SmartTV?

Olla,
Hhgregg has a Haier 55 inch 4k tv at 350 while best buy has an insignia 4k smart tv with roku built in at 500

I just use for netflix or amazon video and NFL.. so do I get a roku 4 box and the flexibility to upgrade or is a built in roku a better option?
