iCoud Password Problems!!
« on: September 29, 2016, 05:55:42 PM »
i Keep getting this stupid error!!! Fantastical is being blocked from iCloud

and i can't seep to get in

Your iCloud password for ***********@gmail.com is incorrect.

If your Apple ID is using two-step verification you will need to create an app-specific password.

Info about iCloud passwords
If you are using two-step verification or two-factor authentication

Apple requires app-specific passwords when using two-step verification or two-factor authentication with iCloud. Please read these instructions for help with creating an app-specific password: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6186.

Once you have created an app-specific password you can enter it into Fantastical so that Fantastical can sync your events and reminders.

If you enabled two-factor authentication and Fantastical is showing a 403 error

Did you recently turn on two-factor authentication for your iCloud account? If so, please try doing the following:

Remove your iCloud account from Fantastical's Accounts preferences
Log in to appleid.apple.com and remove any existing app-specific passwords, if you have any
Create a new app-specific password
Add your iCloud account to Fantastical and use your new app-specific password
If you are not using two-step verification or two-factor authentication

Enter your iCloud password when prompted. If you are sure that your password is correct but you're still told your password is incorrect, then your password may have expired. You can check this by going to appleid.apple.com, clicking Manage your Apple ID, then logging in. If your password has expired you will be prompted to reset your password.

Also, make sure are using your Apple ID's primary email address. You can check which email address is your primary address at appleid.apple.com.
