Biobay can be done but do I need to rent a car to get there ? And is it a scary drive back at night ? What about taking a cab, will I find one when leaving ?
I did the Biobay in Vieques so I am not sure but I would assume you need a car to get there and back. And IME it is not at all scary driving around there at night

Some hotels provide shuttles and charge it together with a tour option

Anyone can recommend or not for that matter the intercontinental ?

Intercontinental - highly recommend. We got a nice pool view room. Bell boys were friendly and helpful.
They're very Shabbos friendly. True point about warming up the meals.
The beaches in Isla Verde aren't the most beautiful (chabad area).

mini boat tour added to the wiki.
This is a great choice if you can't get to Culebra or Vieques. Beautiful views, white sand beaches, clear blue waters...
3 hour tour, your own mini boat, snorkeling included- with optional underwater pictures.

Still Trying to figure out why so many people bring food along if there is a chabad option?
Can lots of kosher food be found in local grocery like in other US stores ?

yes. There is a big 24 hr supermarket, Peublo, right around the corner from Chabad. They even have a kosher aisle where you might find some kosher lpesach matzos and macaroons!!

Im looking at low budget accommodations. I'd prefer something on the beach. does one area have nicer beaches(quieter) than others?
I noticed there are like 6 Hyatt houses in San juan. is there a major diff between one property and the other? I see on VBRO amazingly well priced apartments. Does anyone have experience with that?
It seams like everyone is staying at the RItz or St Regis. Im wondering if anyone looked into other options.

i stayed in Hyatt house in San Juan by convention center. We had a very pleasant experience.
We had a car so we were able to get around so we didn't mind not being on the beach

We actually did old san juan when it was drizzling. Wasn't too bad. But depends which hotel you're at. You can do spa, casino, etc.

Thank you. We are staying close to old city. Can you suggest some indoor activities in the area other than casino?
