Is it better to transfer credit from cards you wanna close to other cards, close the account and then use the extra credit as leverage or while extra accounts are still open? From Dans posts he seems to prefer keeping them open for leverage; but isn't having many accounts a negative factor in getting approved?

A few really dumb questions about Hilton:

Citi Hilton Honors reserve card - comes with 2 weekend nights, does that exclude weekday nights?
Can I use those nights to stay at Waldorf in Rome?
Can I use points to stay at Waldorf in Rome?
How do I see how many points it cost to stay at a Hilton property using the site? I am signed in and selected "use points" in my search - what am I doing wrong? Is it because my account has 0?

right away, when the 1st option doesn't work after a few calls, the rest usually never. But if option 1 doesn't work than may as well.

3. I have looked pretty thoroughly - the price is in Euro (or USD if I change it) but can't figure out the price of (any) room in HH points. Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong.
