It's been declined.

Is "max 2 cards in 30 days" something Chase is really enforcing now?
If yes, does it take Biz cards into account or only personal (i.e. if I got approved for Ink and Marriott, can I also get approved for IHG)?

IIRC they mean across all chase cards.
Now if its enforced, YMMV

Hmm not sure. I have heard some reports of 3 in a day that mix biz/personal, but haven't seen 3 of either personal or biz only in a very long time.

On another note, Doctor of Credit is saying:
"The consensus is NOT TO CALL to expedite the approval. If you get a pending notification at the time you apply, we often pick up the phone and call to speak to reconsideration. With regards to Chase, itís now better not to call and let it go through the approval process on its own. This will increase your chances of approval."
Can anyone comment on this? Is this only for UR type cards or co-branded also? Is it accurate?
I got auto-approved for Ink and Marriott (even though I am over 5/24). IHG says "2 weeks" on status phone message. Debating whether to call or wait it out. Can't really see the downside of calling unless the reps are really trained now to look for any reason to deny. Maybe we have reached a stage where (for Chase) human eyeballs are worse than computers????

Interesting and good points.  But have you had experience (since Chase has clamped down) with 3 cards in one day?

I SM'd for recon 2 weeks ago (after initial denial letter)

no response yet via SM/letter in mail but automated status message changed from "7-10 days" to "2 weeks" about one week ago...

Does that mean anything? Should I call in to follow up?
I wouldn't call.

I've had experience being denied for 3 in one day, if that helps. :)

Meaning, you got approved for 2 and denied for 3rd? And reason for denial was 3 in 30 days etc?
Were any of the apps business cards?

The most recent batch I went for 3+. The IP just required a call-in. The CSP was declined because I got a bonus within the last 24 months. The others had different reasons.

+1 IME with chase biz cards its better to let the system do its work a specially when you speak to recon and they send it for approval calling to rush it wont help and even if rep will recon he very likely to declined your app i was just approved for IP after waiting full two weeks

When I call the chase status line, I only hear about 2 apps, even though I did 3. (I did 2 of them on the same browser without clearing cookies, stupid of me.) Should I reapply for the third?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.
