On that note, never exclusively breast feed a kid. give em a bottle from day one.
JMHO
That may cause issues for a mother who is BF. Seems like it may cause confusion for the child.

Though i do agree with your point. Whenever the next one comes around for me, they will be getting a bottle once a week or so. Very difficult to go away from the kid if they won't take a bottle.

I don't have any kids yet, but why can't one just go into the bathroom to BF?

Usually very small and not comfortable.

Most Frum women would probably feel uncomfortable breastfeeding uncovered in public. Shouldn't be a problem to cover up, if the baby doesn't like it then you could probably arrange to do it in the galley or something.
You can bring any liquid you want as long as it's labeled 'breast milk' :P
We were even allowed to bring bottled water because we needed it to prepare formula.
its amazing how much of a farce airport security is...

Not practical for everyone, people who have milk supply issues can have problems even from giving a bottle once in a while.

Just curious do you have kids? From everything I can gather, this can cause multiple problems. As some have mentioned it can cause supply issues for the mom (which may be compensated for with pumping, but is an absolute pain). Bottles are often so easy, it can cause the baby to never latch on properly to the mom.

Terrible advice.

If it bothers someone so much then don't look. I don't get it. You can't deny an infant food because some dude has issues.

Ok, I didnt necessarily mean formula, it can be pumped.

It is nice for the new mother to be able to skip one feeding during the night while the husband supplies a pumped bottle. (pumping can alleviate supply issues also.)

With my first kid, when we finally did want to give a bottle, he didnt want to "latch on to the bottle", just screamed. (This transition week is also known as hell week.)

Bottom line, do what your wife say's, dont listen to me!

If you have a window seat, remember to close the shade.
