I'll do the same offer after S209 if someone can walk me through adding a guest to my booking. Thanks

There probably aren’t that many people on here looking for a 15$ discount  on a Hyatt cash night night to even try competing with even one person to get them to stay under your own account. But $16, I think that is much more persuasive

makes no sense to get a 15 dollar subsidy from a low status or no status when globalists are offering subsidy.

Even at a 50 dollars explorist subsidy is worse than a 10 dollar globalist subsidy

At a low cost or category 1 (cash or points) hotel, globalist is almost worthless while a $10-$15 subsidy is significant. Nobody is paying $50 for Globalist benefits at a Hyatt House.

Echoing this point. I’d take it a step further and say Globalist is useless at essentially any Hyatt House or Hyatt Place despite the category.

It’s virtually useless but my point is the $15 subsidy when paying $65 or 3,500 points for a night is a no-brainer.

correct at a low end hotel thats accurate but once you go beyond that then globalist benefits get much more valuable. That is exactly the reason most of the lower status guys are offering this subsidy to get to globalist.

however globalists on this board are offering 10 dollars subsidy so 5 dollar incremental for no status subsidy makes no sense in most cases. Even at a Hyatt house or place you get a late 4 pm check out with globalist

Sure and that's up to the buyer to determine whether or not they value that. If I'm doing a weekend trip and checking out on a Sunday, I don't necessarily value leaving at 4pm vs. 2pm that my Explorist status provides.

I think what @S209 and I are trying to stay is that your blanket statement of subsidies incrementally beyond the $10 that Globalists are offering making no sense isn't necessarily true.

An explorist offering a 15 $ subsidy vs a globalist offering $10 is not even a comparison in situations where there is free breakfast, better upgrade and lounge access involved . This is a given unless you believe its better to take 5 dollars additional

In cases like a Hyatt house or place its a $5 difference in subsidy but the globalist does get a later check out (and you are right its up to them to decide). In addition, if it's a stay where the person is buying points from you or is an award stay, it also provides free parking which is a globalist only benefit

At the end of the day it’s 15 bucks off a stay and for most cheap hyatts that’s a nice offer regardless of anyone’s status. Then when you guys help us get globalist we’ll sell stays for better hotels. For the sake of getting status racked up it is totally no difference if it’s a hyatt house or park hyatt, so it’s really just catering to people not looking to spend a lot on a cheap hotel stay for whatever reason.
