MIA HertzI reserved a premium and was given a 2015 Cadillac CTS. Sweet!
Isn't the Cadillac a premium car? They sometimes put it a class higher so they can charge more...
Luxury
wow! what is your status with hertz?
probably premier luxury actually
CTS is a G4It's the class they made up for the caddys and G37/Q50
So its not luxury? I seem to recall that they consider a Buick lacrosse to be luxury
The lacrosse fluctuates between a G and an I depending on the own location...The G4 class will generally be called a luxury but I've had issues with it.
Since at hertz you are assigned a car (gold) i would assume that its all computerized and based on availability which would give you the higher class if they ran out of what you reserved. My point being that they dont have a person checking what you're status with them is and giving you a car with that consideration. Any thoughts?
it's not an automatic process. they need to manually assign you a car.
I reserved a midsize manual car at Malpensa airport in Milan, Italy and got Audi A5 automatic!
The lady at the counter sees my American license so she's like "do you only drive manual or automatic as well?" I'm like well as far as I know anyone that drives manual should be able to drive automatic...
Nice, which car rental?
