The ref was standing right there with an unobstructed view. The only decent shot they had wasn't 100% either way.
Controversial would be a obvious missed call.
Agreed, which is why I personally believe the call was incorrect, but still think it was the right call based on what a human in that spot could see. And based on the footage, it wasn't clear enough to overturn. I think it went as it should with humans, although I don't think it was the factually correct outcome.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

So at one point it did?
Sure. Wasn't like this in the 90s.

And in contrast all the articles talking about Latin pride and female empowerment.

It just looked like a strip show to me.. I didn't feel any female empowerment, I just felt bad for all the participants of the dancing..

And the 11 year old daughter!
Did you also feel sorry for all the 11 year olds/children kept in cages?

That is your perspective on it.
Here is what leaves me puzzled - Where was the outrage at last years halftime show when we had a man ripping off his clothes and grabbing his you know what?

but officer he was speeding also

You should learn what that means. It is trying to defending one negative action with another.
I am not defending either action but just pointing out the hypocrisy.
Funny no one has an answer.  :)

Firstly, who said there wasn't? Second, there aren't world wide movements to end the objectification of men, as there are with woman. Third, whether there was a protest last year or not has nothing to do with how wonderful or putrid this year was. IMO, everybody needs to stop being such snowflakes. I'll quote a great man in saying, "if you don't like something, just change the channel."

How about when mahomes scrambled on 3rd and 11 late in the 1st qtr. He started to slide after the 1st down marker and took a hit that knocked the ball out of his hands 2 yards backwards.

Shouldn't the ball be placed where he started the slide rather than where the fumble ended up going out of bounds?

Then again, that call would've negated the borrowed play call from the '48 rose bowl on the subsequent snap.

Did he slide feet first?

That's not the rule. The rule is that you're marked down at the spot your body first contacts the ground. His body didn't contact the ground until after the ball was out. This is beside the fact that he started the slide past the 1st down marker.

Personally, I don't believe that is an appropriate emoji use for that article. Which is why I'm interested in hearing why @Dan does think so.

Can't speak for @Dan , but one thing I noticed was that she didn't mention that the song was written by a woman. Its not about erasing women's voices, its about amplifying them so that it reaches places that it would otherwise not reach.

She writes about Miriam, Deborah and Chana that
Quote
The Torah records their songs, in their own words, because women’ voices matter.
yet it is men who read the haftorah.

She also wrote that men singing the song isn't the problem.

Picking a couple of points you disagree with /= dismissing the entire piece and especially rolling your eyes.
