I applied for the Starwood and got fr'd, i need to fill out the 4506-t form, my income is less then what i told them. Will they make me any problems other then give me a small credit line?

do you have other Amex cards which had charging suspended? Cuz if you were applying for your only card then I don't think you have anything to lose

is there any way to pre-approve a charge? like telling amex you are going to be spending XXX amount so as not to be F/R'ed or get charge declined?

that goes according to your CURRENT CL....i was asking for some time in the future. for example i may spend lets say 2k and now i only have 1k avaialable CL so they may say it wont work...im just looking to have a charge approved.

My wife got FR'd about 4  weeks ago. I sent in all the paperwork and was waiting for the good news. I check my email last night and see that amex sent an email that they are closing down all her cards. I immediately call in, while the  FR department was closed a rep from lending services told me they were shut due to failure to supy necessary documents.

I can only assume that my fax never went through, or they somehow got misplaced somewhere on their end.

Is there any recourse? Can I persuade them to give it another go and reinstate the suspended status in the interim? As of now all accounts show canceled. I wouldn't want this showing on her credit report as closed by lender/issuer. I would also like to salvage approximately 50K MR.

Side note, on our 1040 it won't show any income for my wife as I  am the sole  breadwinner. However we do file jointly, I don't recall if it shows a breakdown of how much each spouse earned, or just the household income. Will my earning  by sufficient for her to pass?

I was FRed 2 years, recently did  a 3bm,
Now when I call it gets transferred to FR but they're closed so It gets transferred to customer service.

I just closed my business card to avoid an issue with that.

Should I close any other cards, as seems I have 7 cards open...

I don't want them to see 8 accts and flip out + cant they also shut business card if its a new business? ( on app I probally stated more years)

They just wanted updated income info,  she said everything ok. 

Is it bad idea to buy VR now?

What is the IRS Form 4506-T?
 Form 4506-T is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) document that is used to retrieve past tax returns, W-2, and 1099 transcripts that are on file with the IRS. The document gives permission for a third party to retrieve the tax payer’s data. The taxpayer must sign and date the 4506-T.
