I was only suggesting that as an option since he seems to want a card with no AF.
The EDP is definitely the better card, has a better bonus and is worth keeping open long term.
Downgrading would mean giving up 25k points ($350) to save $95. That's besides for the bonus categories. For example, $2,000 spend in supermarkets to hit spend threshold would net 9,000 points, valued at $135. The same spend would only get 4,400 points on the ED, or $65. That's a $70 difference right there, almost the cost of the AF.
