When we came to Lubavitch for the last days of Pesach, I saw an unusual scene. The parking lot was full. I then realized it was Sunday and they were all attending church. The building looks quite delapitated, but apparently it is functioning and has some kind of a landmark designation that makes renovations problematic. Unlike in Moscow, Ladas had a respective representation here. The Soviet era ones were easy to spot, but there were also more modern models, such as this 4x4. A little after noon the parking lot had emptied out, and Lubavitch was back to it's more normal self.
Imagine, those goyim have membership in a legit Lubavitch church!
