The quality of Vivarati socks are great. WAY better than my Boss socks. they wont fall apart in the wash and I have not noticed any shrinking.
As for being expensive - they are really more pricy (without the coupon code) so this is really a great value

I love funky socks but I set myself a limit of $5/pair a while ago. Century 21 has a great selection on cheap socks.

I have family there, so they buy 'em for me (in 'wholesale' quantities

) and send 'em across the pond with mutual acquaintances. IIRC M&S has international shipping for 15GBP per order, so if you know your UK/M&S size you can order a complete wardrobe and only pay 15GBP for the shipping.
