yes, some of the times. and i also saw it said you need to give a promotion code to the cashier and the cashier thought i landed from Mars......

Where in Softcard are you seeing it? I don't see anything like that. Also they never said in the promotion you had to do that, it was just add new card, tap and pay, receive GC.

I assume you mean call softcard. This offer doesn't apply to prepaid cards, which I assume includes serve.

Go to the plus sign in upper right when looking at homepage with a given cc.. Go to browse offers and its there.

I added 9, I've used 6 so far. I just realized that I used the first 2 on the same day so maybe they lumped those to one GC and I'll get the rest in time.
