Did they announce no cancellations in the other ended partnerships?
They didn't announce that here either.
If you have partner segments on the itin that may not reopen.
Based on past cases the only thing that probably won't be able to be done is change to a new LY flight.YMMV.
This morning JetBlue officially announced its intention to CodeShare with ElAl
Unfortunately they won't be sharing frequent flyer...http://www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com/2014/09/jetblue-el-al-to-begin-codeshare/
Codeshare? Didn't they sign something 5 years ago?
"JetBlue and El Al have not, however, announced plans to link their frequent flyer programs."All that tells me is that they haven't announced anything yet. You made it seem as if an announcement was made that they are not sharing award travel.
yes. In August 2010:http://www.jpost.com/Business/Business-News/El-Al-signs-agreement-with-JetBlue-AirwaysAnd I dont understand the difference between interline and codesharing aside from the possibility of award travel.
Interline agreement is just so that you can link itineraries of two airlines on one ticket or to link them for baggage transfers (even if they are on separate tickets), vs. codeshare actually allows one airline to book you on another airline under their code even though that airline is not the operating carrier.Non of the above has anything to do with having a frequent flyer program relationship (although, as far as I understand, airlines must have an interline agreement in order to have a FFP alliance).
been trying to book 2 people 12/27 O/W NYC to TLV with AA points, nothing available. What r the chances that it will open up before 10/31???
