I wanted to inform you and the list that I applied for three cards yesterday: IP, IB, and SW - all biz. They gave me a horrible time about approving the SW since I got 2 biz approved already in one day. I did as I was told; call back, call back, call back. I made nine phone calls. I checked out CK and it says that chase gave me 6 hard pulls - all in one day!

so u just hung up from John with chase recon biz. He is super cool! But he explained it to me. Basically chase WILL NOT approve you for three biz cards[ UNDER THE SAME BIZ NAME in one day. Every thirty days!

He said in 30 days apply again. I said well i took a very hard but today with 5 cards...(not really) but he said no sir, since its all under one burea then its only inquiry!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoa!!!!!!  He knows the shtick!

Your grammar took a bit of a beating there in your excitement, but I think he was saying you got only one pull? And if you apply again in 30 days it'll be under the same one pull? That's wierd, and IME and confirmed by multiple others Chase biz and personal are 2 pulls even in 1 day via 3bm and same bureau.

yes... I reverted to my old self  but he said i only got one pull. :-) and yes apply under diff names.

Depends on the SS#, not the name AFAIK.

Call them tomorrow.

Called them and they still said my card is a Visa but when I called number on back of card they again said its forsure a MC.
Then I saw a pending charge from Amazon on something I ordered like a month ago and finally getting shipped out now so need to wait till that clears..then pay..then swap

If I got declined on the citi aa cards cause of "too many apps on one day"
 anyone know what te recommended time to wait before realpying is?
(Six reps told me there is no such thing as recon once its declined .. And can't switch with dif cities card either...)

Lol. Chase reps told me that there is no recon while an app is still pending, only once its declined can it be "reconsidered".

Converted my SP visa into a MC a few hours ago...called the number on back of the card now and they said its a MC.

Applied for a new SP Visa and recon told me that my current SP is a Visa and they cant approve it.

Anyone ever had that?

I got Freedom MC approved in addition to pre-existing freedom visa first try with recon, then figuring it was easy, tried for my wife, and have tried recon over ten times and everytime they say, "Sir, we've read the notes, is there anything else we can do for you? 
No, there is absolutely no was we can approve two of the same card. YES even if one is Visa and one MC."
So I figured I just got really lucky with mine, and its really tough to get it approved, and was ready to give up recon'ing (GASP!)

Now I see these comments, and wonder whether I should still keep trying with recon?

My wifes Freedom Visa is new, but the first billing cycle should close allowing points to post before 30 days for recon for the MC are up, so worst case scenario, if I can move the signup bonus and 5% cashback (VR) points from my wife's freedom account to mine, I can then close the visa to open a MC without losing any points.
Can I move UR points from my wife's Freedom to my Freedom/SP if the accounts are not linked at all?

One recon CSR said if my wife switches from visa to MC she wont get another sign-up bonus since its the same card.  I suspect that she's probably wrong, and the sign-up point will post for the MC anyway.
Is there any experience to support this suspicion?

Question about the ba card.

I signed up last week when it said I get an extra25k ppoints after 10k spend and another after 10k more.....
Just got my card and I only see the travel together ticket mentioned.
Do I have to call and confirm and possibly send proof of my offer?

Just a small issue, that i still need to get like 20,000 points for this statement, and normally u get it after the statement closes, but in my case i will need to close my cards before the statement closes,
Is there any way i should be able to get the points? tried once and some rude guy said no, is this a matter of HUCA or is there another way or something else to say!?
