Having multiple PRG cards at the same time

I received a targeted offer a while back for a PRG card 50k after 1k spend, and Plat card 100k after 3k spend. I applied for both of those cards, and received them.

Now, I got another targeted offer again for the PRG, but this time, it's 75k after 3k spend.

I know that I can always downgrade or cancel the first PRG card and apply for the second one, but is there a chance that Amex would let me have two at the same time?

I believe if you have a reason to give them of why you need two  they may allow it.

If you just want the upgraded offer on the PRG, you might call/SM Amex with the invitation code and see if they will match you.

Why in the world would I do that if I can get both bonuses by just applying for the other card too?

I've had 2 PRG at the same time, but didn't get the bonus for the 2nd one so YMMV.

Well then, I can always downgrade the existing one to a Zync (once the bonus posts), and apply for the new one.

The question is if I can give them the invitation code to match to 75k, and then STILL use the code to reapply for the new one?
