Anone know if annualcreditreport.com is a good site to check credit score? is it reliable? seems to be free once a year.

Annualcreditreport.com is one free report (from all three) every 12 months. ACR does not sell reports or scores AFAIK.

Some times when you are declined for some credit cards, they give you your FICO score. Why? IDK Which cards? By me it seems to be the most random thing..

for that i would have to be declined for a cc i want to get my score now b4 i apply so that doenst help me very much

I thing the author know about credit very well , he writh on the Mint Blog all the time
