"The last country with Jews and no Coca-Cola has received a permanent Shliach.
During the Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt anounced to the 700 participants that cuban-born Rabbi Michael Tacher and his wife will be moving out to Havana, Cuba, to serve as the first permanent Shluchim to the Communist Island.
During the past 20+ years, 'Canadian Friends of Cuban Jewry' directed by Rabbi Shimon Aisenbach sent Bochurim and couples to the Island, bringing the Jews closer to their heritage, one of those fruits is Rabbi Tacher."
