Lufthansa signup error

In order to sign up for the Lufthansa Miles & More card from Barclay (now 50k for a limited time), they require you to have be a miles & more member, and do not let you submit your application with out it.

The problem is that there is a glitch in Lufthansa system (confirmed with customer service) and it gives the following error:
"The number of characters of the zip code for the selected country is invalid. Please check the zip code and try again."

Anyone know a way around?

I have the same issue. Tried from all browser and used privet mode, no go. Any help would be appreciated.

When does the 50k instead of 30k offer end?

With them you can never really know.
In the last 3 months they pulled it and put it back at least 3 times iinm.

I called them today. The guy said that it's been a problem since late last week. They are aware of it and working to fix it. He told me that he's getting tons of calls, and he sounded frustrated himself.

why not open the account with an address in a different country and just change back once it's fixed?

No experience with Lufthansa, but with other airlines it can be a PITA, as the rules are different for each country, so they have to change your account type.

I hade this happened so I changed my country of residence to virgin island (us) and it worked
