do you use a different credit card depending what store you are in? Which cc are you using nowadays for gas?

does anyone know if you get the 3% or 5% rebate on gas in israel gas stations or in any other country other then in the u.s.? When i called a couple cc companies they didn't seem to know themself!

i've gotten the 3% on gas in canada (almost canceled out though by the 2.7% foreign transaction fee)

This may be too complicated for you, but any gas GCs bought at Staples or OD/OM with an Ink card get 5% back in UR, which is worth more than 5% cash, plus (IME) you get the cash price at the pump. Additionally, various gas GCs go on sale frequently on Ebay. I know it's not for everyone, but it's certainly worth mentioning.

It's not complicated,  but for many it's too many steps and documenting remaining balances on GC's.
