creating multiple LLCs to maximize business c.c. offers

I have an LLC which I utilize to apply for business cc's such as the starwoods business amex as well as others. You do not give them your social and it doesn't effect your credit score (as far as I know) so its really a win win situation.

So i got to thinking why not create multiple LLCs? In Jersey it costs $125 to create one which is easily paid for with the first cc offer. Is there an issue with creating a whole bunch of LLCs all in my name (perhaps some in my wife's name too) which all come to my address? Does the state have anything against that?

Would c.c. companies realize that the llcs are all from one guy and shut them or would they not care because after all they are all separate legal companies each one an entity in it of itself independent of the owner.

i guess you do give your social when applying for a business card...but it still doesn't effect your credit score. The idea of multiple business creation still may work

Don't forget to file the appropriate tax return, yearly, for your corporation or partnership.

It will have the same effect on your credit score as a personal cc application.

The only difference is if you carry a balance on the card it will not reflect on your personal cc and therefore not add on to your utilization ratio.

Why would that scenario even prompt a question? Business apps are at least as tied to the SS# as they are the TIN #.

If getting the same card was possible, as I said, why would getting a DIFFERENT card be an issue?
