Do you have any preferred trading instrument? Right now TD ameritrade is running a promo that gives you commission fee trades for 60 days. They generally don't have any minimums on their accounts if you are trading equities.
Sorry didn't check the promotion just the terms. You can still open an account with them technically but it's no longer worth it. Can you give some more info about your trading habits? For example if you trade fundamentally and don't need charts or already have a charting service, base on the size of the account you might be best off paying for share on tradesation https://www.tradestation.com/pricing/stocks-and-etf-pricingAlso another thing to be aware of, with small account sizes a lof of brokers charge a monthly fee for low balance or not enough trades, make sure you ask them about it as a lot times they sneak it in fine print in terms of service. I think all of them that I have used including station have done so.
