Fairmont free nights

Does anyone have experience using these as well as the dining and breakfast credits. Would like to know how strict they are with it being nontransferable and what's the availibility like outside of the blackout dates in the terms of the free nights?

Does anyone have experience in using someone elses certifcates and booking it before it expires to stay after the the expiration....with hyatt both work no problem with a couple HUCA
