Kosher food in first class on a domestic flight
« on: November 17, 2010, 12:07:37 PM »
Not sure if this has been discussed here before....

Im taking a flight in first class on US which has "dinner" showing on the reservation. Do airlines offer kosher meals when flying first class domestically? I seem to remember reading somewhere that they no longer offer "special meals" domestically.

No Kosher food on US Airways. No movies or music either. Even in premium classes. Cost cutting measures.

Pilot wears a parachute during flight   ;)

Generally what I do with DL, US, and CO on these first class routes that don't offer a special meal: I send a quick e-mail afterwords explaining my disappointment. They offer anywhere from 5,000 miles to $150 of ETV for the bother. :-) Thus Im always happy to see the spcl ml not show up!

I traveled on a FRA-DFW LH F flight, to be only a few hours in Dallas, and continue with US F DFW-CLT-LGA, and nada zero, nothing KSML. Don't forget that I wasn't allowed to bring food in the USA....

There were some snacks, with one OU D which I don't eat, so that was it...

The purser I wouldn't have accepted her even as cleaning lady by me.

only for 'ya'?

When I tried entering the US lounge in CLT, with an US F, and a *A S at the time, and got refused, I thought I would behead the lady/receptionist in the lounge.

At the end, she let me in, and we became buddies.

She escorted me later on to the plane telling the crew that I'm a VIP.

I would double dip with both! Did that with a CO award in F on US HNL-CLT. Got $50 from US and 5,000 miles back from CO per ticket.

I assume you sent a separate email for each ticket to both of them? Meaning if there were 2 passengers, you sent 2 emails to CO and 2 to US?
